New CTO in S.E.W. North Filtration A/S (January 2022)
It is with great pleasure that as of the January 1st, we welcome to the S.E.W North family our new CTO, Lars Ingvar Knudsen.
Lars has over 45 years of experience in innovation, automation and robotics, and leaves his role in a robot automation company. His primary role initially is to continue our optimization and robotization processes, and make us become the leading high-tech company in our industry.
Lars´s many years of experience and professionalism will benefit the company´s 2025 vision and goals.

New S.E.W. Factory under construction
We are proud to announce the S.E.W. North Filtration A/S families new 8000m2 home is under construction and taking shape as according to our design plans.
Over the next couple of weeks we will see the installation of doors and windows along with new gates securing our facility. This will be followed by our new hi-tech robot line being put in place. Measuring an impressive 26m long and 13m wide the new robot line will allow us to increase capacity up to four times our current levels. We are expecting to move in and be fully operational by the end of October.
The new factory can be found strategically located 15min from the new tunnel and ferry crossing to Germany, in the Maribo Business Park at exit 48 of the E47 motorway

New S.E.W. Factory
We are proud to announce the S.E.W. North Filtration A/S family will be moving to a new state-of-the-art production facility in September of 2021.
The new 8,000m2 factory is to be strategically located 15min from the new tunnel and ferry crossing to Germany, in the Maribo Business Park at exit 48 of the E47 motorway.
The new facility has been specifically designed to triple our production output while maintaining our short lead times. This will be achieved with the introduction of a high tech robot line producing up to three filters per minute while a new automated dispatch center, operated by AGV will be operation 24hrs a day in order to distribute these filters to our customers around the globe.

Minister for Business, Industry and Financial Affairs at S.E.W. North filtration A/S
On Wednesday the 4th of March the S.E.W North Filtration A/S family welcomed Simon Kollerup the Minister for Business, Industry and Financial Affairs to the Maribo facility. The visit, arranged by the business organisation Business Lolland-Falster, is an initiative where the minister visits local companies expanding production facilities with robotic technology to maintain jobs in Denmark.
We had the pleasure of showing Simon our production facilities, including our robot production line which we are excited about expanding in the coming years.
